MHA FPX 5028 Assessment 1 Executive Summary

Assessment Overview

This paper, MHA FPX 5028 Assessment 1, compares and contrasts different global health associations and healthcare models.  It starts by talking about three important organizations: the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Rescue Committee (IRC), and the Global Health Council (GHC). It goes into detail about how they work, who supports them, and what they do.  The paper also looks at three different healthcare models: the Canadian National Health Care model, the U.S. Entrepreneurial model, and the Brazilian Compulsory Health System model.  The analysis shows that they have different structures, costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs), such as readmission rates in Canada and patient satisfaction in the U.S.  The conclusion stresses that each system has its own strengths and weaknesses and that we need to work together around the world to fix health differences.

WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION – WHO

The World Health Organization (WHO) was founded in 1948 and is still dedicated to improving health and safety for everyone around the world.  WHO works in six regions: the African Region, the Region of the Americas/Pan American Health Organization, the Eastern Mediterranean Region, the European Region, the Western Pacific Region, and the South East Asia Region. Its main goal is to improve the health and well-being of people all over the world.  Over 8,000 professionals work in 150 country services and other branches to help it run more smoothly.

WHO gets most of its money from voluntary donations from groups like the United Nations, intergovernmental organizations, humanitarian foundations, the private sector, and others. About 20% of its budget comes from class pretenses.  WHO’s strategic goals include reaching a new billion people with universal health content, protecting a billion more people from health problems, and improving the health and well-being of a billion more people, which is known as the triadic BILLION design.

International Rescue Committee – IRC

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) was founded by Albert Einstein in 1933. Its goal is to help people who have been affected by war or natural disasters rebuild their lives, often in new countries.  IRC works in 40 countries and more than 20 U.S. cities. Its mission is to restore health, safety, education, financial well-being, and work to those in need.

With about 82.4 million people displaced by conflict, extremism, and persecution around the world, IRC helps deportees, internally displaced people, and shelter campaigners all over the world.  IRC offers important services like access to health care, nutrition treatments, clean water, cash assistance, educational opportunities, gender-based violence awareness, support for small business development, and help with getting citizenship.

Global Health Council—GHC

The Global Health Council (GHC) is a big group of lawyers, units, and stakeholders who work together to promote global health and Hardic. GHC leads the way in business to tackle global health problems, following its mission to shape collaborative voices for smart investments and programs.

In its advocacy efforts, GHC focuses on backing strong health programs and coffers in both the U.S. and melting stakeholders in multinational forums, various fields, and enthusiasts for global health to promote progress all over the world. GHC’s most important sources of income go toward policy and advocacy work, getting members involved, and supporting operations and general operations.

Overview of Health Care Models

Healthcare systems around the world use different models, and each one has its own structure, performance metrics, cost comparisons, pros, and cons. The model of the illustrated national health system in Canada focused on basic universal coverage through a general duty bank. Surgical cuts, on the other hand, prefer to perform marks as hospitals that are related to hospitals.

In contrast, the Entrepreneurial Health Care Model in the United States focuses on high-quality care, patient satisfaction, and better access, but it costs more, mostly because of insurance.  Brazil’s Mandated Health Care Model is an example of a system that offers free emergency care but has problems with access, overcrowding, and differences between healthcare facilities.

Key Performance Indicators

Key performance indicators (KPIs) are important standards for measuring the effectiveness and quality of healthcare systems.  In Canada’s National Health Care Model, KPIs include surgical readmission rates, restraint application, and alcohol-related hospitalizations. These are all examples of how to improve care delivery and deal with case issues.  The entrepreneurial health care model in the United States also stresses high-quality care, availability, and lowering the number of deaths caused by preventable diseases.

Once more, Brazil’s Mandated Health Care Model has problems like not enough access to preventative care, too many people in emergency apartments, and uneven distribution of healthcare.  Equity is a key CPI for measuring how well Brazil’s health system works. It shows that things are getting better, that there is less overload, and that health care is being set up in ex-gene services.

Conclusion

In conclusion, global health organizations like the WHO, IRC, and GHC play important roles in solving urgent health problems around the world.  Different healthcare models have their own strengths and weaknesses, but combining elements from different systems could lead to universal access to quality healthcare.  Challenges like limited funds and differences in healthcare delivery make it even more important for global sweatshops to put health equity and well-being for all people first.

Step-by-Step Guide

To find similarities, differences, and the pros and cons of each model, you need to use a structured method to compare health systems around the world.

  1. Your Models and Associations  Select a variety of associations and healthcare models that exemplify diverse methodologies in global health.  The paper picks three well-known groups (WHO, IRC, and GHC) and three different public models (Canada, the U.S., and Brazil).
  2. Break down the associations  For each group, figure out what its main charge, backing sources, and most important effort are.
    • What is WHO?  A UN agency focused on global health ethics and universal health content. It was funded by member fees and voluntary donations.
    • IRC: A nonprofit focused on helping displaced people, mostly through donations.
    • An advocacy group based on class worked to change global health policy.
  3. Take Each Healthcare Model Apart  For each public healthcare model, break down its most important parts.
    • Structure  How is the system set up (for example, is it funded by private sources, based on private insurance, etc.)?
    • Backing  How is it paid for (for example, with taxes or decorations)?
    • Pros and Cons  What are the pros and cons?  The document says that the Canadian system has universal content but might have trouble getting to it, while the U.S. system has good content but costs a lot.
    • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are important  What standards are used to determine success?  For example, the Canadian model looks at the number of patients who have to go back to the hospital after surgery, while the U.S. model looks at how happy patients are and how good the care is.
  4. Put everything together and come to a conclusion.  Make a final conclusion that sums up the most important points from your analysis.  The paper does a good job of showing that even though each model has its own strengths and weaknesses, a group of these systems could make it possible for everyone to get high-quality health care.
