SWOT Analysis 

Information on an individual’s strengths and weaknesses is necessary for career planning and professional development. A SWOT analysis is a strategic analysis tool used in corporate and organizational analysis, but it also comes in handy when used in individual references, particularly when carrying out career assessment and goal provision (Teoli et al., 2019). An individual SWOT analysis helps one evaluate the advantages in comparison to competition in the market or organization. Besides, it enables people to recognize their weaknesses and bring solutions to a strategic level in order to minimize outside threats that may hinder their advancement (Chagan, 2021). Strengths

To begin with, I show determination and commitment (Teoli et al., 2019). Whenever I pursue a goal, I wholeheartedly commit myself to winning my performance. Second, my various work experiences have prepared me with data and office administration, customer service, and business technical aspects with a complete skill set. Lastly, I will be finishing my bachelor’s degree and plan on specializing in further education in the business.

Weaknesses 

My main weakness is over-self-criticism. I always feel I am not good enough, lacking in ability and intelligence. This tendency towards poor behavior is reflected in self-awareness and present self-confidence. Besides, I overcompensate for errors by putting in extra hours, sacrificing personal time, which my family criticizes. These weaknesses can hinder my realization of high ambitions and stress conditions (Vidir and Oltmans, 2017).

Opportunities 

Professional networks formed through my working as a trade contractor for the US Navy present various opportunities for engagement in civilian activities (Vonbergen, 2013). These networks enhance my social competencies and offer insight into the requirements of various communities. Engagement in voluntary schemes also enhances my emotional intelligence, which is crucial to my profession. Besides, entry to online academic sites like Capella University will make full-time work plus educational activities achievable.

Threats 

Economic uncertainties, particularly amid the epidemic, pose a high risk of job stability and organizational health (Mikhayalova et al., 2020). Technological advancement at a high rate also poses challenges, which need constant skills development to remain relevant. Besides, the arrival of young, technology-related employees poses the risk of transforming traditional skills kits, which states the need for adaptability in the face of the trends to be developed. 

Strategies for Development 

Overcoming personality and character weaknesses is essential for professional growth (Mitin et al., 2022). Leveraging strength to eliminate feelings of inadequacy and insisting on career counseling can lead to the discovery of new strength and align opportunities with long-term goals. Moreover, incorporating a colleague’s response to restrict mutual skills and manage self-criticism can enhance professional efficiency.

Peer Feedback 

The peers value me for hard work and reliability. Nevertheless, they consider the propensity of those who are pleasing others and overdoing the genuine psychology that may hinder leadership (Mitin et al., 2022).
