Introduction

Christus Healthcare Organization is committed to direct patient care of the residents of Busar County. In line with its updated goals and commission declaration, which focus on the growth of the Ministry of Treatment of Jesus Christ, it is bound to tackle existing health disparities in the Christus Buxar County Community (Christus Health, ND). This report analyzes health inequalities according to the organization’s capacity to offer demographic information, social initiatives to address the needs of health services, gaps in health services, culturally sensitive care, tasks recommended, and possible participation.

Health inequalities according to demographic data involve aspects such as employment, education, income, and mortality. For instance, between 2017 and 2018, the rate of employment in Buxar County rose by 2.45%, with a majority of the Hispanic or Latin graduates (Brexer County, TX | Data USA, ND). Also, domestic revenues declined slightly in 2018 from the past year (Bexar County, TX | Data USA, N.D.). Disparities regarding gender are evident in mortality, where men have higher mortality compared to women (Katrina D. Freeman, 2019).

Community Efforts to Address Health Care Needs

Efforts to overcome health inequalities are multi-layered and involve the cooperation of federal, state, and local institutions. For instance, the Department of Health and Human Services carries out plans of action to end racial and ethnic health disparity (Artiga, Orgera, and Fam, 2018). Likewise, social agencies like Metro Health in San Antonio work relentlessly to enhance public health services (Strategic Scheme, 2017).

Gaps in Health Care Services
